Salt Marsh Ecology

Course Description: This field experience transports middle and high school students to a local salt marsh and through hands-on activities, students learn basic ecological principles, local Gulf coast flora and fauna, how scientists collect data, the value of the salt marsh habitat to humans and insight into human impacts on the marsh.
All our field courses are tied to local science standards, national science standards as well as Ocean Literacy Principles and Climate Literacy Principles as appropriate.
