Position Description: Assistant Professor of Marine Science (Biological Oceanographer)
Assistant Professor of Marine Science, tenure-track beginning August 2016 or January 2017. Oceanographer with an emphasis on estuarine, coastal and/or open ocean productivity. Must be qualified to teach Biological Oceanography and related courses at both undergraduate and master’s degree level. Interest in applying modeling or remote sensing techniques to biological oceanography, primary production, nutrient cycling, or phytoplankton ecology, a plus. PhD required by time of appointment. Active grant-funded research involving undergraduates and masters students is expected.
