Position Description: The Dean of the College of Natural Resources and Sciences serves as the academic and administrative leader of the College responsible for: collaborating within CNRS and across other colleges in implementing the University-wide strategic plan; overseeing planning and evaluation to promote excellence among academic programs; enhancing student and faculty success; taking strategic and fiscal actions to foster a thriving and cutting-edge interdisciplinary learning and research community; promoting diversity and inclusion; fostering collegial and collaborative academic environment, facilitating grant acquisition in support of scholarly and co-curricular activities; and cultivating fundraising and development opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, committed and collaborative leader with successful experience growing high-quality academic programs. Additionally, the candidate will hold the terminal degree appropriate to his or her discipline, and demonstrate a distinguished record of excellence in teaching (undergraduate and graduate levels), research, and service that supports appointment and tenure at the rank of full professor in one of the College’s academic departments.
