Position Description:
The Florida State University Coastal and Marine Laboratory (FSUCML) (http:///www.marinelab.fsu.edu) invites applications for the position of Marine Laboratory Facilities Director. We seek a highly motivated individual with notable organizational and management skills who can lead facilities operations and understand basic ecological processes and research support needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

assisting in the management, administrative direction, and coordination of staff and activities of the FSUCML
supervising the maintenance and marine operations staff to ensure high quality, efficient, and safe research support
providing guidance and direction for FSUCML services related to the research facilities.

The position serves as a member of the FSUCML's senior management team, participating in strategic planning, staffing decisions, and other key areas; and assists in developing and maintaining partnerships throughout the University in order to attain FSUCML goals and objectives.
