Position Description: The University of Maine invites applications for Director of the Ira C. Darling Marine Center. The Director will provide innovative leadership; develop new research, educational and outreach programs for the Center; and work collaboratively to further the goals of the University. This is a full-time position located at the Darling Marine Center in Walpole, Maine. The position is tenured, at the associate or full professor level. A doctorate (Ph.D.) in a marine-related field is required. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
