Course Description: This class will be an introduction to the biology of cetaceans (toothed and baleen whales). Topics covered will include evolution, taxonomy, anatomy, physiology, genetics, behavior, and conservation related to species within this Order. Lab exercises will introduce current methods used in cetacean research.
